2What is a Cadet?
A Cadet assists Technicians in delivering and connecting basic consumer electronics products at client sites. The Cadets will follow established schedules and procedures for home delivery of products.

Non-driving role, no MVR(Motor Vehicle Record) required. Cadets will not operate any vehicle during the performance of services

Cadet duties/responsibilities
  • Meet Technicians at the designated starting store and rides with Technicians
  • Assists in unloading and unboxing of products
    • Cadet must be able to carry/lift/push/pull weight of up to Seventy-Five lbs. alone or up to One Hundred and Fifty lbs. as part of a team, without the use of a harness/lift/dolly or other assisted method
  • Assist in troubleshooting/set up of consumer electronics (hooking up basic audio/video components, network setups, remote controls, etc.)
  • Cleaning work area of all debris
  • Assist with instruction of client’s use of the products
3What is a Delivery Experience Cadet?
A Delivery Experience Cadet assists Cadet in delivering consumer electronics and appliances to and from client’s homes. They follow established schedules and procedures for delivery of products. This is a Non-driving role, No MVR required.

Delivery Experience Cadet duties/responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading product to/from vehicle for delivery of products
  • Removing product from manufacturer packaging
  • Assist Delivery Experience Technicians/Cadets in determining best ways to bring merchandise into client’s home
  • Assisting Delivery Experience Technicians/Cadets in moving products safely into home and unboxing
  • Must be able to carry/lift/push/pull up to Seventy-Five lbs. alone or up to One Hundred and Fifty lbs. as part of a team, without the use of a harness/lift/dolly or other assisted method
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull weight up to Three Hundred and Fifty lbs. alone with use of lift/dolly
  • Must be able to carry/lift/push/pull up to Seven Hundred lbs. as part of a team, with the use of lift straps/dolly, and with reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to carry/lift/push/pull up to Seventy-Five lbs. alone or up to One Hundred and Fifty lbs. as part of a team, without the use of a harness/lift/dolly or other assisted method
  • Assist Delivery Experience Technician/Cadet in removal of old products (applicable haul-away) from client homes
  • Assist Delivery Experience Technician/Cadet in moving original appliance to new location within the home (if applicable)
  • Assist with instruction of client’s use of products
  • Cleaning of the work area of all debris from delivery (e.g. boxes, packaging, etc.)
  • Properly unload/load and secure items on delivery truck to prevent damage during shipping
  • Move and stage product for future deliveries
  • Help Delivery Technicians/Cadets with directions, phone duties and map reading between deliveries
4What is a Home Theater/Home Delivery Static Cadet?
This role performs both Cadet and Delivery Experience Cadet functions. Static Cross Workforce Helpers are highly flexible mission specialists.

5What are the expected hours of work per week?
24-40 Hours per Week
6How much time in advance do you receive your schedule?
2-4 Weeks in advance
7What does Non-Benefited W2 Mean?
An employee benefit is any form of compensation a worker receives other than his/her stated hourly wage or salary. Common types of employee benefits include health insurance coverage, access to a retirement plan, dental insurance and vacation benefits. Non-benefited employees do not receive any of these job benefits. According to the Department of Labor, federal law does not address employee benefits such as health benefits and vacation benefits in the private sector, so employers do not have to offer benefits to all employees
8What are the qualifications to pass a background?
Background Investigations will include, at a minimum and to the extent permitted by law, the following searches using both the employee’s or independent contractor’s current name and previous name, if the employee or independent contractor has changed names within the last five (5) years:
  • A search for felonies and misdemeanors recorded within at least seven (7) years of the date of the Background Investigation (the “Search Period”) in the county in which the employee or independent contractor resides as of the date on which he/she submits the job application or enters into a relationship with Service Provider
  • A search for felonies and misdemeanors recorded during the Search Period within the National Criminal File, which contains multiple criminal record repositories of criminal records covering all fifty states
  • A search for whether the employee or independent contractor is registered on the National Sex Offender Registry at the time of the Background Investigation

  • Subject to applicable law, Service Provider will not assign employees or independent contractors to perform Services if employees are (1) found to have been convicted during the Search Period of a felony or a misdemeanor offense that is job related, or (2) registered on the National Sex Offender Registry at the time of the Background Investigation and the conviction is job related.


In conducting Background Investigations, Service Provider agrees to consider the following factors in determining whether to assign employee or independent contractor to perform Services:
  • The job responsibilities of the position
  • The relevance of any prior conviction to the employee’s ability to perform the job responsibilities
  • The time elapsed since the conviction and/or completion of the sentence
  • The employee’s age at the time of the conviction and/or completion of the sentence
  • The seriousness of the offense
  • Information provided by the employee about his or her rehabilitation since the conviction and/or completion of the sentence
9What are the qualifications to a drug test?
A screening for the following substances using a 5 panel urine test: Amphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana, Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opiates; and (3) ensure the integrity, confidentiality and reliability of the screening process.
10What can disqualify if reported on Motor Vehicle Records(MVR) Test?
  • Participation in illegal manufacturing, transportation, distribution, possession, sale, or use of drugs or firearms at any time while operating a motor vehicle
  • Homicide involving conduct of unreasonable risk or a high degree of negligence during operation of any vehicle
  • Any felony in which a vehicle was used
  • Citation and conviction for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or illegal drugs within the previous three years
  • Citation for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury, death, or destruction of property
  • Any combination of three at-fault accidents or moving violations within a three-year period
  • Any DWI, DUI, or other alcoholic beverage related driving incident within a three-year period
  • Citation for reckless driving within a three-year period
  • Any license revocation within the past three years
